This is a message from your old buddy, belly fat. We had a great time this summer, didn’t we?
Great food, parties and plain old sitting around eating too much.
Guess what? I’m thinking about sticking around all fall and winter if you don’t mind. You might need to get a bigger pair of pants, it’s getting cramped down here and I plan on expanding.
Do me a favor; avoid that CrossFit Oldtown training you were thinking about. The folks training with Jerry Hill have melted away a bunch of fat and I really don’t feel like looking for a new home (plus things are so comfy right now).
If you’re ready to get exercising again stick to that long slow cardio and same old weight training routine. Sure I get a little sweaty, and the brain thinks it’s working out, but it’s never enough to melt me out of my nice comfy home.
Remember that CrossFit-style training you tried last January? That metabolism stoking workout felt like someone lit a furnace; it was blazing down here!
Man, I sure was glad you gave that up and went back to lifting forks and knives not dumbbells and kettlebells. Otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to celebrate another summer together this year.
Well it sure was good catching up with you. So again, if you want to keep your dear old belly around for another year, don’t contact Jerry Hill – if you do contact him I’m outta here and you’ll never see me again!
